4. E-Invoicing Infrastructure
DEMFACT delivers and receives PEPPOL e-invoices through a certified PEPPOL access point provider established in the EU/EEA, in compliance with the OpenPEPPOL Transport Infrastructure Agreement and Belgian e-invoicing regulations.
Users may request the identity of the underlying access point provider by contacting privacy@demfact.com. The list of active PEPPOL sub-processors used by DEMFACT is documented in our Data Processing Agreement.
5. Regulatory Information
- DEMFACT is registered with the Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen / Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises (KBO/BCE).
- DEMFACT is subject to Belgian VAT legislation and is registered with the SPF Finances / FOD Financiën.
- The platform complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection laws.
- Structured B2B e-invoicing is mandatory for Belgian VAT-registered businesses since 1 January 2026 (Law of 6 February 2024, amended by the Law of 20 December 2024).
6. Dispute Resolution
For any dispute related to our services, please contact us first at support@demfact.com — most issues can be resolved directly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, Belgian consumer law applies. Consumers may bring the matter before the competent Belgian courts, or (where applicable) submit a complaint to the Federal Public Service Economy — Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be).
DEMFACT is not obliged and does not commit to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before any specific consumer arbitration board.
